Hebrew School Programs
Beth Shifra has run hebrew school programs to help unaffiliated Jews find out about their heritage. Our goal was to give them a taste of Jeudaism through shabbatons, trips, holiday plays, celebrations and musical events. We would have pizza parties and other fun activities for students. Many of our students went on through the help and guidance of Rabbi Prussman to be enrolled in yeshivas all over New York area. We also worked with the children's parents to give them brisim and bar/bat mitzvah celebrations.
