The library offers classes.

Some public schools offer for their night programs english classes for parents in the community.

Listen to television/radio/tapes/phone conversations in English
Team up with a friend at work that speaks English
Let your grand children or friend' s children read to you.
Take some english tapes out of the library.
Go to the library and sign up for classes that involve reading, writing and listening skills.
Go to your local synogague/ congregation and see if they will team you up with an English speaker.
Carry around an English/ ( your language) dictionary.
Use the COMPUTER -internet at the library to play an english game.
