Damaging winds are expected along sections of the Western and Eastern Cape's coastal areas, according to the South African Weather Service(SAWS).
Colder conditions are expected in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, Northern Cape, and parts of KwaZulu-Natal, especially in the extreme south.

Yellow Level 2 warning: Severe thunderstorms leading to large amounts of small hail over an open area, as well as localised flooding of susceptible roads, low-lying areas and bridges are expected over the eastern parts of the North West, extreme eastern parts of the Free State, Gauteng, and the south and central parts of Mpumalanga.
